Adding a dashlet to a Dashboard

Select the + to add a dashlet. This will open the dashboard selection page. Dashboards are grouped by use, such as Alarms, Network, System Health, Trunks or Voice Quality.

Configuring a dashlet

The top panel of each dashlet contains configuration options:


  1. Pin/unpin - Dashlets can be moved within a dashboard by clicking on the top bar and dragging to a new location. Once they are in their final position they can be pinned in place.
  2. Resize - Dashlets can be resized using the expansion icon.
    1. Size options can be Small, Medium, Large, or Huge. Not all options are available on every dashlets.
    2. If there is insufficient room beside or below a dashlet to expand it or if a bordering dashlet is pinned, then the resize options will appear greyed out.
  3. Help - "Explain this dashlet" navigates to online documentation for the dashlet.
  4. Settings – Select location, equipment name, summary period, dashlet specific panels, etc. 
  5. Delete – Delete this dashlet from the dashboard.


Dashlet Custom Name

In settings, some dashlets contain a field called Dashlet Custom Name.

When this is populated it will only appear on the dashlet header if the dashlet is 10 grid squares or larger. Use Resize to make your dashlet wider, if required dashlet.


Moving  a dashlet

You can drag and drop a dashlet to a new position within the dashboard. A dashlet must be unpinned to move it.

    1. Use mouse to ‘click and hold’ on the top bar of the dashlet and drag it to the new position., 
    2. Note that selection of "Automatically Reposition Dashlets" will effect manual repositioning of the dashlets on the dashboard. This setting is on each dashboard and effects the behavior of dashlet positioning.

 


Deleting a dashlet

To delete a dashlet on a dashboard, use the burger menu in the top right hand corner and select delete.
