As Cisco's growth in UC market share continues, at Virsae we have now expanded our Cisco support to keep up with rapid demand.

With this release we have extended our support of equipment management to include Cisco Cube, and UCM, including:

  • Adding and configuring of Cube and UCM
  • Comprehensive alarming for all event types
  • Two specialized real-time dashlets
  • Thresholding, System Monitoring, and Protocol Validation


There are two new Cisco System Health Dashlets available for the Cisco Cube, and Cisco UCM:

Cisco Unified Communications Manage (Call Manager) Dashlet

The new Cisco UCM dashlet shows a real-time feed of

  • Uptime
  • CPU
  • Memory
  • Network connectivity
  • Network traffic (sending and receiving)
  • SIP Calls

The new Cisco CUBE dashlet shows:

  • Processor and Platform CPU
  • Processor and platform memory
  • Disk utilization, uptime, and logged in users
  • Network connectivity
  • Dial Peer summary

Other enhancements

  • The Extension Activity Report, now includes data from Avaya Session Managers. You'll find these on the report input window, in the Equipment dropdown box
  • The New Equipment pane on the Manage Equipment page, is now collapsed by default. 


Bug Fixes

  • There was an issue introduced with role-based access, which caused the change calendar table to not refresh correctly for some equipment. This has now been fixed.

  • There were some performance issues on the Manage Equipment page:
    • The page did not render correctly in full screen mode.  This has now been fixed
    • Sometimes when editing equipment, it could take a long time for the page to open.  This has been fixed
