Introduction
VSM Everywhere (VSM-E) is technology independent - and able to be applied to a device regardless of whether the user has Microsoft Teams, Skype, Genesys, 8x8, Zoom, Avaya, Avaya One Cloud Private, Cisco, Webex or other technology.
Wherever your people work, this technology-agnostic platform ensures your Unified Communications and Contact Center environments are operating at peak performance.
The remote workforce has changed everything; users are making calls via XCaaS platforms using a wide range of connectivity, speeds, and ISP’s, typically on consumer-grade connections. Moreover, they are sharing their network with family members who are taking up precious bandwidth and perhaps causing background noise not experienced in the workplace. IT needs to know exactly what the user experience is, why it’s happening, and what to do about it.
VSM Everywhere (VSM-E) provides new analytics such as workstation and home network performance. To view a device here, you must have a Cloud collector and VSM-E installed on that device. For information about installing VSM-E read more here... or contact Support for more information.
How to Use
Navigate to this page via Configuration Manager > VSM Everywhere Devices. Any device with VSM-E installed on it will be listed here.
To view Details for a device, left-click on a row. As you navigate through the tabs, warning triangles and mouse-over information will highlight areas that fall outside industry recommended standards.
The drill down detail will default to the Last 2 Hours, or you can choose a Custom two-hour range.
Users can query data at any point in time BUT there is a hard limit set to a two-hour range.
