VSM has a Real-time reporting panel called a ‘Dashboard’. There are numerous report ‘Dashlets’ that can be displayed on each ‘Dashboard’, depending on which systems you are managing with VSM.  The Dashlets provide configuration, capacity, availability and/or performance information related to the various platform resources.

The purpose of the dashboard is three-fold:

  • To enable IT teams to proactively identify potential issues and prevent outages.
  • To provide a real time view of overall systems health at a glance without having to rely on end-users reporting problems, using smart color coding of potential issues.
  • In the event of a service-impacting incident, to significantly reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), reducing the impact on business operations.

Navigate to dashboards via Service Desk → Dashboards.
