Avaya Session Manager alarm setting was too sensitive and raising far too many alarms. Now an alarm is only raised if three consecutive checks of the entity state indicate it is down or partially up.False positive SIP Entity status alarms were being generated mainly due to flapping networks. SIP Entity status alarms are now subject to additional scrutiny. When a SIP Entity status changes, VSM now validates the status change with 2 additional queries. The new status will only be considered permanent if it remains in a consistent state across all three queries.
