Introduction

The SIP Calls report tracks threats over a specified time period.

SIP calls can be blocked due to a multitude of typical problems, such as:

  • SIP parse errors
  • Failed Authentication
  • Accounting challenges
  • Security features such as TDoS and DoS
  • Exceeding Invite rate thresholds
  • Failed SIP calls with 4xx, 5xx and 6xx class SIP failure responses
  • Calls from Blacklisted sources
  • Calls denied due to missing policy

Ideally these reports come back with no entries, but in typical deployments a certain normal level can be expected. Use Thresholds to alert if normal levels are exceeded.
