The OS Performance Report contains the following three reports and is most useful if run over a period of 7 days or more to view trend.
Schedule the report weekly or monthly to manage trends.
OS Memory Usage Report
Depicts the consumption of RAM at the Operating System level, so that it takes into account the true loading including non-Avaya Communication Manager applications. Useful for identifying hardware capacity constraints. Can be used in conjunction with Availability Management to notify IT support staff of an impending capacity issue, and can be instrumental in preventing large outages. Tracks actual consumption over a given period: Video Overview
There is a memory leak with an application running on this processor. Urgent action is required to avoid a restart. In this example memory is running at dangerously high levels. An immediate upgrade is highly recommended.Introduction

OS Processor Occupancy Report
Depicts the loading on the processor at the Operating System level, so that it takes into account the true loading including all applications. Useful for identifying processor hardware capacity constraints. Can be used in conjunction with Availability Management to notify IT support staff of an impending capacity issue, and can be instrumental in preventing large outages. Tracks actual occupancy over a given period: Processor capacity in excess of 70% in a Linux Operating System environment is not recommended and will have a detrimental effect on the performance of the application. Video Overview
The Processor at the top is running well within manufacturer recommendations. The processor at the bottom is hitting 100% occupancy and should be upgraded to more powerful hardware.Introduction

OS Free Disk Space Report
Depicts the storage on the Hard Disc taken at Operating System level, so that it takes into account the true loading including non-Avaya Communication Manager applications. This report is best if run for a period of 2 days or more. Useful for identifying hardware capacity constraints. Can be used in conjunction with Availability Management to notify IT support staff of an impending capacity issue, and can be instrumental in preventing large outages. This report tracks actual storage over a given period: The HDD at the top is running well within manufacturer recommendations. The HDD at the bottom still has plenty of capacity but consideration should be given for upgrading to larger hardware.Introduction
