Introduction

Depicts the consumption of RAM at the Operating System level, so that it takes into account the true loading including non-Avaya Communication Manager applications.

Useful for identifying hardware capacity constraints. Can be used in conjunction with Availability Management to notify IT support staff of an impending capacity issue, and can be instrumental in preventing large outages.

Uses

Tracks actual consumption over a given period:

  • Trend over time period for forecasting hardware upgrade
  • Identify and act on memory leaks
