Introduction

Depicts the storage on the Hard Disc taken at Operating System level, so that it takes into account the true loading including non-Avaya Communication Manager applications.

This report is best if run for a period of 2 days or more.

Uses

Useful for identifying hardware capacity constraints. Can be used in conjunction with Availability Management to notify IT support staff of an impending capacity issue, and can be instrumental in preventing large outages.

This report tracks actual storage over a given period:

  • Broken down to partition
  • Trend over time period for forecasting hardware upgrade

Example

The HDD at the top is running well within manufacturer recommendations. The HDD at the bottom still has plenty of capacity but consideration should be given for upgrading to larger hardware.
