Genesys Cloud System Status Health

We've implemented dashboard visibility and alarm notification for the Genesys Cloud System Status for each Service and specific to a customers core region.

Alarms

Alarms for outages and incidents can now be generated for the status of a customers Genesys Cloud Organization, and for each service applicable to that organization .

These can be viewed:

  • on the Alarms Summary dashlet (real time)
  • in Manage Alarms (unresolved alarms)
  • in the Alarms Report (historical reporting)

Dashboard

The Genesys Cloud Conversations dashlet now has a rolling banner displaying the Genesys Cloud System Status for each Service and specific to the customers core region.

Each service is displayed with status-specific colors as follows;

  • Normal state is shown in green font color
  • Degraded state is shown in amber font color
  • Partial Outage state is shown in amber font color
  • Outage state is shown in red font color
  • Maintenance state is shown in blue font color,

VSM Everywhere allows publicly signed certificate

From VSM-E Version 1.0.98, you will now see an additional step in the VSM-E installer wizard. We've added the ability to select from three certificate options for the VSM-E client to validate against:

  1. Use the Virsae Self-Signed Certificate
    • This is the default option
  2. Use the Virsae publicly signed certificate provided by DigiCert
  3. Use a custom publicly signed certificate of your choice

For options 2 and 3, please contact support@virsae.com before installing so that they can apply the certificate to your virtual location.

Bug fixes

We continue to improve Dashboards-preview. This sprint we have focused on Alarms Overview dashlet, ACM System Health Summary dashlet and CIsco CUC and CUBE dashlets.

Ethernet switches and Generic devices were missing from the equipment drop-down selection box on the Network Connectivity dashlet. This has now been fixed.

For some customers the Layer 3 Device tab on the VQM Summary dashlet was giving a continuous loading icon. This has now been fixed.

VMWare Health Summary dashlet was not loading data. Data now loads.

Remote access to CS1K's via a RPi is now working. Previously remote access was only possible with a serial connection using a lookback connector.

Alarm report was timing out for some customers at various date ranges, This was caused by a missing index EventId and has now been fixed.
