Organizations are increasingly using UC technology stacks which are partially, or entirely, cloud based, for example: Teams and Genesys, Pure Cloud.
The VSM Virtual (Virsae Cloud) data collector specializes in collecting information from these cloud based services.
This collector sits sit alongside existing collectors - Hardware (legacy), software, Raspberry Pi, and Linux OVA and is managed under Equipment Locations.
It is only possible to add one single virtual collector per customer. It is not possible to change an existing collector to a Virtual collector.
The types of equipment that can be added to the Virtual collector, are initially limited, but will be extended over the course of 2021.
