This feature allows customers with ONLY a virtual collector to use the protocol validation functionality.

Its allow customers to check if the Genesys website is responsive or unresponsive,.

Customers with a regular collector, or a combination of regular and virtual collectors already have this function.

Protocol validation allows customers to check if an IP Address or URL is reachable and responsive. For more information about protocol validation click here

An example of using protocol validation from a virtual collector is to check if your Genesys Cloud is working.

• Ensure that your Customers can ensure that their agents are able to login by using protocol validation to test the login URL.

Bug Fixes

• On Genesys Conversation drill down, the Max Latency in Media Streams was missing. This has now been fixed.
• We've improved the loading bar and mouse overs for date range buttons on the Genesys conversation records page.
• Adding new Protocol Validation under Virtual Location did not update the Protocol Validation status and showed N/A which is now fixed. In addition when adding Validation Target, the validation field should only have External as its selectable value, before it displayed Internal.
