Introduction

This report provides an a historic view of the traffic handled by your Avaya Session Manager by registration.  

SIP Signalling Report shows historically:

  • Primary registered
  • Primary subscribed
  • Secondary registered
  • Secondary subscribed

Uses

Its allows you to compare loading between Session Managers to: 

  • Ensure redundancy is working as designed.
  • Ensure endpoints are Subscribed to SIP Events.
  • Use as an indicator of potential network problems.
  • Trend changes over time.

Example

In this example the number of Primary and Secondary registrations is relatively equal, inferring that the SIP endpoints are also registered to a second Session Manager in relatively equal numbers.

There are no Subscribed endpoints, meaning SIP events such as MWI will not be passed to the Endpoint.
