Introduction

Virsae Business Partners and Customers must choose which type of VSM Collector best fits their needs. The most suitable collector to deploy for a given environment will depend on customer preferences and the scale of the environment to be monitored.

Type of Collector

There are three four types of collector collectors currently available:

  1. RaspberryPi.
  2. Windows Software Client,
  3. Linux Virtual Machines
  4. Virtual (Virsae Cloud)

Features

The Windows Software Client, Linux Virtual Machines, and Raspberry Pi Collectors all support the same VSM features..

The difference that each Collector type provides comes from the scale of operation that they support.

For a Raspberry Pi Collector they the typical demography of a customer should be:

  1. Less than 200 BHCC; and
  2. Less than 1,000 IP station users; and
  3. Five, or fewer, call server platforms; and
  4. Less than 20 servers or generic devices.

  1. Less than 30,000 BHCC; and
  2. Less than 30,000 IP station users; and
  3. Less than 10,000 contact centre users; and
  4. Five, or fewer, call server platforms; and
