As-Built Schematics provide a visual representation of your communications network. As built schematics are automatically created in Microsoft Visio format.

Note: You must have Microsoft Visio or Visio Viewer for your browser in order to open and review these schematics.

  1. Click on Configuration Manager > As Built Schematics
    1. As appropriate for your UC environment, a list of Vector, Media Gateway, Network Region and Control Network Diagrams will be provided, in the “Files and Folders” view.
  2. Right click on the diagram you wish to view, select download, and then select the Open button (or, just double click the filename).
    1. You will then be presented with the diagram filename in Windows Explorer view. Double click the file to open it
    2. Examples of the various As Built Schematics are found in the Customer User Guide.

ACM Vector diagrams

ACM Vector Diagrams give you a view of your call flows. These are your as-built diagrams and can be easily modified using visio. 

  1. There is a Vector Overview page showing a summary view of all vectors.
    1. Red denotes that there is no links to use this vector such as VDN or route-to steps.
    2. Right click on a shape, select Data and then Shape data to turn on shape data and reveal additional information
    3. For Green vectors, Shape data on the Vector Home page shows related VDN, Skills and related route-to steps utilizing a vector.
  2. Hover over a shapes for hyperlinks to additional pages of information; hold the Ctrl key and click on the hyperlinks to be taken to the pages.
  3. Where you see a home symbol this is a Hyperlink back to the main page.
  4. Route to VDN steps within a vector have a hyperlink to the vector used by that VDN.
    1. note the extension number must be configured as a VDN for there to be a hyperlink
    2. shape data contains the name of the associated VDN

Network Topography diagram

  1. Hover over a server for hyperlinks; hold the Ctrl key and click on the hyperlinks to be taken to the pages.
