The Announcement Play Request report measures the number of announcement plays for each announcement on a per board basis over a selected time period.
- View over an extended time period individual announcement activity
- Identify potentially redundant announcements
- Use in concert with Announcement Port Usage report to redistribute announcement load
- Validate Audio Group configuration is working as expected
Example 1
The report below shows the top 20 announcements by play request by announcement board. By exporting the data to Excel, announcement play requests are available for all announcements on this board. Note how the top four announcements are responsible for the majority of the load.
Example 2
Uneven loading in announcement play requests for announcement boards in the same port network is showing that audio groups are not administered. This represents a single point of failure. Note how the top four announcements on 01b08 have a load of almost 6000 plays, whilst the top four on 01d06 only have a little over 1,000 plays.
